But, as he himself states in his acknowledgements, his book "...can aspire to being an extension and expansion of his [Penzer's] magnum opus...Penzer's Bibliogrtaphy long has been, and will remain, the proper beginning point for studies of Burton."
While I use Dr. Casada's book often, I as often return to Penzer. Most of the time I am looking for Penzer's much more detailed bibliographical descriptions. Casada provides more current information. Both are, unfortunatelly, incomplete and I eagerly await a future, more extensive bibliography of Burton's works.
